The KLOGS March game took place at one of KL’s finest golf tracks, Palm Garden Golf Club.
Unfortunately, the maintenance on the greens over the last couple of years has meant the greens are not what they used to be running around 8.5 and variable. It was a bit wet in places but the rest of the course in general was in good condition, but a number of grass varieties are creeping into the fairways.
23 KlOGGERS arrived on time with Sigi unfortunately having to pull out with his wife testing positive for COVID. Golf registration was easy with the players being registered in advance we teed of about 10 minutes early.
We finished in the good time in about 4 hrs 15 minutes having looked for a few balls throughout the morning. One or two flight clearly looked for more balls! Arriving a little later for lunch
Following the game, we made our way to one of our previous venues Restoran East of Highway! As usual we had a few meals only visitors, Clive, Andrew and Barry who arrived in plenty time to check the beer and wine was in order.
We are pleased to report they put on a very good spread with a more realistic price! We usually lose money at this Golf venue but are pleased to report that with quite a few fines and a generous purchase by Clive, we were just about able to break even! Even with 40 beers and numerous bottles of wine consumed.
El Pres then commence proceedings and highlighted some new and recurring guests.

COTD Nominations:
- El Pres was nominated for failing to ensure there was beer at the half way hut!
- Fritz was nominated for his caddy constantly having the shits, not sure what he was doing to cause this???
- Iain for, following a shit shot decided to fix his back swing by using the caddies head as a back stop. Unfortunately, the only thing he achieved was to leave the caddy requiring stitches in his head.
Needless to say Iain was named COTD and he quickly dispatched his punishment as if he had done it before!

Tee Box Ladies and various other Fines:
930MYR
Fines to pay
Ladies: Mike Garwood
Any others???
Of course, we cannot forget our generous sponsors, Sigi for providing so many balls to lose, and Ricardo for providing discounted wine and a bottle for second place.
