KLOGS XMAS Game Templer Park
Thursday 13th December 2024

For the KLOGS Christmas game we returned to the majestic Templer Park. Twenty-Four players including two guests attended the game moved to the Thursday, as Wednesday was a holiday for the Birthday of the Sultan of Selangor. The course in spite of the torrential rains Malaysia has been encountering was in great condition. Players had been requested to wear their Santa Hats and fill their flasks for tee off on their first tees, compliance was generally good although there were some who didn’t understand and were fined. Play was reasonably fast and we finished by 12:30pm.

Christmas Lunch as has been the recent tradition was at Chalet Suisse Restaurant in Ampang. An excellent Menu was provided by Manfred the restaurant’s owner along with the usual Welcome Banner

After filling our boots, it was time for EL Pres to deliver the day’s results. He started by welcoming our two new guests Richard Farand and Frans Bakker who had stepped in at the last minute when Benji realised the game was not on Wednesday even though he wasn’t coming back till Thursday anyway! Irish Logic?. The novelty Prize winners.
