Kuala Lumpur’s Other Golf Society is a monthly social golf group for expats and locals alike — equal parts golf, lunch, and good-natured mischief, since 1990.
What is KLOGS?
KLOGS has been part of KL’s golf scene since 1990 — thirty-six years of monthly rounds, overseas away trips, and a fair number of fines along the way. The membership is a mix of long-timers who’ve stuck around through job postings and relocations, and newer faces who show up one month and never quite leave.
Half the point is the golf; the other half is lunch afterward, prize-giving, and whatever happened on the back nine. If you’re looking for a relaxed, social way to play regularly with a consistent group in KL, this is it.
What a game day looks like
One round, one venue
A monthly trophy game at a different KL-area course, generally in the third week of the month.
Lunch & prize-giving
Golf is followed by lunch, results, and prizes — tankard, wine, sleeves of balls, and the odd glass of beer with a ball in it.
Away tours
Two overseas trips a year, usually May and November — four rounds of golf over four days.
How to join

Come along as a guest
Anyone can be brought along as a guest, ideally with about 5 days’ notice so we can sort out numbers.

Play 3 guest games
At least one of those games should be alongside a committee member, so we get to know you a little.

Get proposed for membership
An existing member proposes you, the Committee weighs it up — not just handicap, but character and whether you’ll enjoy the culture — and you’re in.
What it costs
No joining fee RM100 yearly subscription RM350–400 per game
Guests pay the same green fee as members. The annual subscription is payable each January.
